Tumors Transplanted in Man With Cancer Cell Injections and Monkey Viruses

The progression from human cancer cell transplants to monkey cancer virus injections in man; culminating in the convenient epidemic of cancer due to the AIDS monkey virus

“As disastrous as the spread of HIV is, the insights that the AIDS epidemic provides into the causes of cancer may ultimately lead to new and successful approaches to cancer prevention.” [1]

Setting the Precedent:

Exploiting Immunosuppression in Human Cancer Vaccine Experiments

Chester Southam’s Human “Tumor Transplant” Research

Cancer, vol. 19, November 1966,  pp. 1743-1753.

Tumor Transplants Were Used Initially To Test The Effectiveness of “Passive” Cancer Vaccines

Size of transplanted tumors (“homotransplants”) measured as a function of leukocyte transplants (an experimental “passive” cancer vaccine) from healthy and diseased (immunosuppressed) patients.

How human “tumor cell suspensions” were prepared from “tumor specimens” by Southam for injection into cancer patients:

“tumor cell suspensions ready to implant”

Human Cancer Was Also Induced To Test An Experimental “Active” Cancer Vaccine:

Deliberately induced tumors in humans regress faster with repeated cancer injections

Result: “accelerated rejection” of repeated cancer cell transplants claimed as evidence of tumor vaccine:

“The growth of a repeat implant of the same [cancer] cell type has been studied in normal recipients. The repeated implants formed smaller nodules and regressed more rapidly as judged by gross and microscopic examination. This accelerated rejection of a second implant is presumably the result of an induced immunity.”

Southam also injected the deadly West Nile Virus in human subjects to test its usefulness as a cancer vaccine.

Researchers Build On Chester Southam’s Experiments:

Tumors Induced in Man Using Monkey Cancer and Tumor Viruses

Monkey tumor virus injected for cancer vaccine research:

“The humans developed lesions quite similar to those of the monkeys…”

Even though monkey experiments with the tumor virus were catastrophic (resulting in “widespread tumors”):

“Intravenous inoculation of virus in the rhesus monkey produces widespread tumors in the subcutaneous tissues, skeletal muscle, lungs, and heart and occasionally results in the death of the monkey.”

Similar tests (using a different inoculation mode) with the same virus were conducted on both humans and monkeys producing different results (localized tumors):

“Subcutaneous or intradermal inoculation of virus produces only local tumors in the monkey and human.”[2]

Other cancer researchers (Koprowski, et al) induce sarcoma tumors in human subjects with the monkey cancer virus SV40:

Sarcoma tumor formation (“growth of nodules”) was measured in human patients injected with various mixtures of human cancer cells and a monkey cancer virus:

“Judging by the results of homologous implantation, HeLa cells and late passage, virus-free SV40-transformed cells had a comparable neoplastic potential. Histologically, nodules produced by SV40-transformed human cells were sarcomas.”[3]

“Nodule Formation” tabulated in human subjects following monkey cancer virus injections

“Comparative effect of implantation with noninfected and SV40-infected HeLa cells.”

Human Experimentation Not Without Danger:

Cancer expert Ludwik Gross warns of hazards of human tumor transplant research

1976: Scientists warn that contagious “human tumor viruses” have been constructed by cancer researchers by mixing monkey viruses with cancer viruses:

“Given the perilous consequences… we see no compensating scientific justification for these experiments… we urge that all experiments involving cocultivation of known oncogenic viruses with primate viruses be immediately halted until the safety of such experiments are extensively evaluated.”

Vaccines were identified as a potential source of “accidental” creation and catastrophic spread of such contagious tumor viruses “capable of producing malignant diseases in humans.”

Another warning: A Dr. MacArthur appeared before a Congressional investigative committee (Department of Defense Appropriations for 1970) and presented a prepared statement which revealed some interesting information about the line of research that was being considered. MacArthur’s statement contained the following startling prediction:

Within the next 5 to 10 years, it would probably be possible to make a new infective microorganism which could differ in certain important aspects from any known disease-causing organisms. Most important of these is that it might be refractory to the immunological and therapeutic processes upon which we depend to maintain our relative freedom from infectious disease.[4] [emphasis added]

Unheeded Warning?

Roughly ten years from the time this “prediction” was made, HIV (a contagious human cancer virus) epidemic began destroying the immunological processes of millions of human beings, thereby making it impossible for them to maintain their “relative freedom from infectious disease” while simultaneously creating an explosion of useful sarcoma tumors in human subjects.

Not only has this epidemic been traced to vaccines, its devastating results have been deemed highly useful for cancer vaccine research.
